What is a virtual event?

Virtual events are a media-rich event platform, offering attendees a highly interactive environment whilst replicating aspects of a physical event.

Events are delivered via the internet with no need for downloads of installations (you will require Flash); attendees simply click on the event link (this will be provided before the event takes place) and easily navigate to the virtual environment.

This will be the UBM built environment’s 9th virtual event, having previously run successful events in construction, architecture and recruitment.

Exhibition halls

The exhibition halls contain all the exhibitor booths.

Attendees can visit exhibitor booths to view their latest projects, products and initiatives, pick up company information, view presentations or simply drop off their business card.

Attendees can even speak directly to company representatives via instant messenger chat functionality.

Auditorium

The auditorium will host the conference programme with both live and pre-recorded keynotes and webinars spread over the two days.

All attendees will be able to watch relevant videos for free.

Speakers at Invest UK will include major industry players as well as key government figures.

Lounge

Whilst attendees can network in both the exhibit hall (with the exhibitors) and in the auditorium, the lounge provides a place for group conversations – much like at a physical event.

This will be the main networking area for attendees. Invest UK will help to facilitate conversation on a variety of subjects affecting investment, development & relocation.
